The Injured Golfer


A woman was playing golf when she took a big swing and fell.

The party waiting behind her was a group from Pretoria, that included Jacob Zuma.

Jacob quickly stepped forward and helped her to her feet.

She thanked him and started to leave, when he said, "I'm Jacob Zuma and I hope you'll vote ANC in the next election."

She laughed and quickly said, "I fell on my ass, not my head."

THE SERENITY PRAYER

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY
TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE;
COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN;
AND WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

LIVING ONE DAY AT A TIME;
ENJOYING ONE MOMENT AT A TIME;
ACCEPTING HARDSHIPS AS THE PATHWAY TO PEACE;
TAKING, AS HE DID, THIS SINFUL WORLD
AS IT IS, NOT AS I WOULD HAVE IT;
TRUSTING THAT HE WILL MAKE ALL THINGS RIGHT
