YOU ARE CAPABLE OF MORE THAN YOU KNOW.

    THE FUNNY THING IS WHEN YOU START FEELING HAPPY ALONE, THAT'S WHEN EVERYONE DECIDES TO BE WITH YOU.

DON'T RUSH THINGS, WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT IT WILL HAPPEN.

IF YOU ARE DEPRESSED YOU ARE LIVING IN THE PAST.
 IF YOU ARE ANXIOUS YOU ARE LIVING IN THE FURURE.
IF YOU ARE AT PEACE YOU ARE LIVING IN THE PRESENT.

DON'T BE AFRAID OF BEING OUTNUMBERED. EAGLES FLY ALONE.
PIGEONS FLOCK TOGETHER.

WHEN YOU DO WHAT YOU FEAR MOST, THEN YOU CAN DO ANYTHING.

STRENGTH SHOWS NOT ONLY IN THE ABILITY TO PERSIST, BUT THE ABILITY TO START OVER.

BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT YOU ARE MEANT TO LIVE  A LIFE FULL OF PASSION, PURPOSE, MAGIC AND MIRACLES.

DEVELOP YOUR OWN SENSE OF STYLE.

 Your clothes should be an extension of your personality. What kind of image do you want to put forth to the world? Are you a tailored, classic professional? Are you quirky and artistic? Flirty and romantic? Trendy and modern?

Use your look to show the world what you're made of. You'll feel more comfortable in clothes that are truly "you." If you're more the quirky and artistic type, you probably won't feel comfortable in classic, tailored clothes. And if you're into the tailored and classic look, you'll probably feel a bit out of sorts in trendy outfits.

Create your own style, you do not have to follow the latest trends. Select pieces that represent your personality best.

DON'T BE SOMEONE'S "SOMETHING"

She grew through adversity,
finding her strength when being strong became her only option.
She realized that real strength isn’t about how long you can hold out before breaking..
It’s about how much you can overcome after you have already broken.
When she stopped defining her happiness through the eyes of others,
When she discovered that being someone’s “something” just wasn’t enough anymore,
That’s when she began to truly awaken.
She ceased being a spark and started becoming a fire.
She realized that burning with passionate intensity and self satisfaction completed her in a way that another person never could.
She had to love herself before she could truly love another.
Meaningful silence meant more to her than meaningless words,
And she learned to listen to her soul and follow her heart.
She made mistakes, stumbled and fell, but knew that growth takes time.
Even the brightest diamonds are formed under intense pressure, and not quickly.
That’s when she realized how brightly she could shine within herself.
She found a strength that she never knew she possessed in places she never knew to look.
Life, love and respect were no longer about being perfect and accepted.
She was imperfectly beautiful in all the ways she loved,
Wonderfully flawed and uniquely chaotic,
She learned to thrive on her mistakes and evolve from her failures.
Becoming her own “everything” empowered her to continually improve and become more.
She didn’t need anyone or anything to realize her dreams and find her happiness,
Her heart and soul were wild and free.
She found herself, and more than that,
She discovered her authentic and visceral truth.
No one could ever take that away from her, her hopes, her fears, her heart:
It made her who she was and she wouldn’t change anything about who she was or anywhere she’d been.
She had no more interest in the flawless people any more.
The ones that burned her bridges only illuminated the way for her to a better place.
She surrounded herself with the souls that understood and accepted her for all of her flawed beauty and disastrous ways.
Give her the cracked souls that meshed perfectly with her broken pieces.
Her dream never came with an expiration.
She smiled because she knew...
All her broken roads led her exactly where she was always meant to be.
She’d found her way home..
And came to love herself in the process.

DOGS ARE FAMILY

"A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.

He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.

When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?'

'This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered.

Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked.

Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up'.The man gestured, and the gate began to open.

'Can my friend,' gesturing toward his dog, 'come in, too?' the traveller asked.

'I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.'

The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.

After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

'Excuse me!' he called to the man. 'Do you have any water?'

'Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in..'

'How about my friend here?' the traveller gestured to the dog.

There should be a bowl by the pump.'

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveller filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.

When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

'What do you call this place?' the traveller asked.

This is Heaven,' he answered.

'Well, that's confusing,' the traveller said. 'The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.'

'Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.'

'Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?'

'No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.'"

THE SERENITY PRAYER

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY
TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE;
COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN;
AND WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

LIVING ONE DAY AT A TIME;
ENJOYING ONE MOMENT AT A TIME;
ACCEPTING HARDSHIPS AS THE PATHWAY TO PEACE;
TAKING, AS HE DID, THIS SINFUL WORLD
AS IT IS, NOT AS I WOULD HAVE IT;
TRUSTING THAT HE WILL MAKE ALL THINGS RIGHT
IF I SURRENDER TO HIS WILL;
THAT I MAY BE REASONABLY HAPPY IN THIS LIFE
AND SUPREMELY HAPPY WITH HIM
FOREVER IN THE NEXT.
AMEN.
