Padded patchwork
Instead of a plain patchwork bedspread, I made it padded. I cut two squares one slightly bigger than the other, the top square is the biggest square. I pinned the corners together, pinned a pleat on the sides, sewed all three sides by machine, filled the square with poly fill then sewed the open side by machine. I put the blocks together by pinning them together to a design then sewed them all together by machine.
